I already had a Normande heifer, Neive, with goals set on breeding Normande for beef. But, to make heat detection and AI possible, she needed a friend. While searching for a quiet, local heifer to join her, Safron’s advert caught my eye.. So, after a couple of research visits to decide if the breed was right for me, I purchased Saffron – along with her sisters, Tilly and Rosie.
It was then that Nova Park Beef was born:
