Our story

In late 2020 I was selected to join the Tesco Future Farmer Foundation (TFFF). Inspired by the sustainability webinars, I was introduced to the beautiful yet rare White Park breed as a key character in conservation grazing, rewilding and park/moorland management schemes. They also happen to produce some of the most delicate, well marbled and tender beef…

Ever wondered how the Sirloin earned its name?

I already had a Normande heifer, Neive, with goals set on breeding Normande for beef. But, to make heat detection and AI possible, she needed a friend. While searching for a quiet, local heifer to join her, Safron’s advert caught my eye.. So, after a couple of research visits to decide if the breed was right for me, I purchased Saffron – along with her sisters, Tilly and Rosie.

It was then that Nova Park Beef was born:
